Since this is a common talking point I commonly see preached by motivational speakers and financial gurus,I thought to ask this out...

Yes to some extent adversity can lead you to be out there thriving,but it also depends on the type of adversity and the investment you get in return for overcoming said adversity <<>> humans are not built for constant suffering with little to nothing in return..

A healthy degree of friction can be beneficial, as it can inspire one to rise above and do good work in life. Complacency is never good. It is a self-satisfied inertia that goes nowhere and leads to decay. Mind you, do  not confuse complacency with serenity or peace of mind. Those are wonderful attributes that can be had even in antagonistic circumstances. Strive to develop them.
