I see a lot of you guys seem to find webpages with some obscure artists/songs and i was just curious...I used to try and search thru yahoo or ask.com to find such sites, but I usually ended up frustrated and toss the whole idea...!!

anyway, any help is appreciated...!

your using the wrong type of search engine really.. yahoo and ask.com are indexes... you want a search engine that goes out and spiders the pages (indexes everything on a page, not just the title).. yahoo is good for finding well known topics, since you have to filter through less junk

the easiest way to find lyrics (and what I do when I'm trying to update the misheard lyrics) is to use google.com.

if you're searching for lyrics to a Britney Spears song, I would enter something like "lyrics Britney Spears hit me baby". Try it, and you'll notice the first page has what you want. Usually sites that specialize in just lyrics, don't have a very complete collection, so you end up going to several of them. You can thank the music publishers for that.

I used to have a page on my website detailing easy methods to finding real lyrics, but I don't know where it is anymore..
