Subject: Please help identify this song

A few years ago (97-98 ), I recorded this off a now-defunct radio station, but I don't know the name of the song or the band.  The lyrics are almost unintelligible - the singer is quite a skilled mumbler. :)

To hear a clip of the song, copy and paste the following address into your browser.  (It's angelfire, so a direct link probably won't work.)  Then click on "unknown song"

I believe that song is called, "Young Lust".

ummm... no.  Being a big Pink Floyd fan, I am sure that it's not them.  Interesting that you should bring it up though, because now that you mention it, it does kinda remind me of "Empty Spaces/Young Lust."

But I am guessing that this mystery song is from a much more obscure band.  It was probably only played on the radio about half a dozen times or so, on a show featuring underground, unsigned, local, etc. bands.

Thanks for giving it a listen - but don't give up yet!  I'm sure somebody must know this song.  Perhaps we could start by trying to decipher the lyrics.  The best I've come up with so far is "Johnny's got a ????? love song," but somehow that doesn't seem right.

Also, I recently put up two more clips that may help.  #2 is the intro to the original clip and #3 is the end of the song.
