I might be interested. What song do you want to use? What bands do you like? If you like the Manic Street Preachers then I have a good idea:

La Cantesse Demerera (cheese in my pie)
Original:       La Tristesse Durera (scream to a sigh)

What do you reckon?

hey, lebeiw, I'd be interested. Pretty much any song is fine with me...I haven't submitted a parody for a couple months now.

Twee_Vicar, is that the name you use at amiright.com, or is it a different one?  Later on, I will be interested in writing a parody with you.  I listen to 80s, 90s, 2000s, some rap, very little country, no heavy metal.  Thanks  :)

I'd be interested in doing a group parody after mine and lebeiw's parody, maybe sometime after I work on some independent parody projects. Genres I listen to: 80s, a lot of 90s & 00s, some hip-hop, VERY RARELY country, some heavy metal, a lot of power pop, pop punk, ska, ska punk, etc...I'll do almost any parody that I've heard the song before. Trust me, it won't work if you don't (see my "They're Robbing Us" parody; I hadn't listened to "Mrs. Robinson" before I did the parody, and my parody turned out to suck!)

Hehe, yeah, I have to hear the song over and over before doing the parody, because the more times you hear it, the easier it is to write it.  (My Breathless, Hanging by a Moment, If You're Gone, Follow Me, and I'm a Believer parodies were all pretty easy to write.)

Hey.

I am the Twee Vicar from amiright.com.
I've already written my parody so no worries. But let me know in the future.

I've not done any cooperative parody writing since I was about sixteen (OMG that's nearly twenty years ago!) - it would be a new experience in telecooperation... what sort of thing are you working on ATM?

...why not take it one step further, and write a parody here, with anyone suggesting lines/verses?
