Ghostbusters is already a parody......it's a TOTAL rip-off of Huey Lewis and the News's "I Want A New Drug"...in fact they went to court over it and it was settled out of court...in Huey's favour...

I think Bryan meant not to use Ghostbusters (the song) as a parody source, but Ghostbusters (the movie) as the theme for a parody... personally I'd prefer to do a Joan Jett parody with a Ghostbusters theme: "You're a nag" could easily change into "She's a Dog" ;-)

exactly. actually, point in fact, HLATN had a Behnd the music, mentioned the court battle back in '84 and got sued by ray parker. why? part of the deal was to never ta;k aboutt he court hearing themeselves publicly. Huey breached that contract, but enough for the history lessons for today. ;)
