I did find another one:

http://www25.brinkster.com/startwilight/byeweaklink.html

I'll contact these pages, and tell them that if they want to use any, my e-mail address is clearly at the bottom of each of my parodies...

strange but each site has at least one song of mine.
Funny ain't it.
Well, I'd like to see more of myne, Leb's, and everyone elses on other sites.

hehehehehe
one more site, one more step to fame
(but there's only 1 million steps left for me)

i think exposure anywhere is a good thing and i kinda wish i had found one of my songs on another site (except maybe in a "why was this wriiten" site) but i also think that if people are going to be taking songs from the Amiright site they should credit the site too and also link to the song here and say people should vote for it... as thanks for improving their website. Asking permission would be nice but often they have no access to email addresses since lots are hidden

You guys have good points.  I guess it doesn't hurt to have exposure to parodies on the net, but I would still like to have them e-mail me before they use them, since I include an e-mail address at the bottom of all my parodies, and I would kinda like to know where my parodies are going to be on the internet, because I was taken by surprise when I found them this afternoon.  That's all.  :)

Hey lebeiw15,

I just looked at the first site and they removed your parody.

Chucky, why not simply designate Copyright designation to all of the parodies, so that other sites can not legally "poach" the parodies?  :-/

The LEAST these wankers >:( can do is include a URL hyperlink to the AWESOME www.amiright.com page, the ONLY parody site on the 'net.  :D

They e-mailed me back, stating "Plus how would I have been able to ask? I don't remember seeing a e-mail address or other way to commuicate".  http://www.amiright.com/parody/2000s/nickelback3.shtml  I think they should have looked a little harder..

I think a quick look around the site would indicate several ways to contact me at the very least.. guess I should make a more noticable copyright notice

I don't mind if anyone uses my parodies, if they ask me first - that's all I ask. They then can put as many of my parodies on their site as they like, as long as they ask and credit is given (oh and an e-mail address for anyone to flame me)

But that is just taking the mick...that's just gotten my paranoid if anyone is using my parodies...*runs to check*

That is really hysterical.  I especially loved how she took out the site name.

She told me in the e-mail that she  "will never show people your work or give you free publicity again".  I  just wanted her to ask for permission.  She didn't have to edit my site out, but If she wanted to be a smart***, that's fine..

judging from the looks of the site, I doubt anyone would see it there anyways..

of course every parody on the site is copied from this one, complete with the person's original comments.. nice of them not to give any publicity to the site since it's clear they seem to like it..
