I'm doing a report over the song Polly, by Nirvana. i need help finding more info. over the girl in the song. if anybody can help me out i would appreciate it.

Are you asking who the girl is in that song? Not sure. Maybe the same girl "Smells Like Teen Spirit" is about. Toby Vail of Bikni Kill, I believe.

The song Polly is apparently about 12-year-old Polly Klass (Class? Nobody agrees.) She was kidnapped from a slumber party in the early 90s and raped and strangled to death.

The girl that Teen Spirit is about. This chick that Kurt dated before Nirvana got big. The title of the song came from this thing a friend of Tobi's said "Kurt smells like teen spirit." meaning her deordorant. They spent so much time together that her scent was all over him, I guess. What I read said she was not really as into him as he was into her. That basically they just slept together a lot. And she was even more anti-fame than he was.
"She's over bored and self assured".
There was an exerpt from a great biography of Kurt in the Spin Magazine issue covering the 10th anniversary of Nevermind. Just FYI.

Actually, both are wrong; correct spelling is "Klaas". Her abduction made national headlines here in the States in the Fall of '93, just six months before Cobain committed suicide. Link to an informative site below...

well then I hate to tell you all, that the song by Nirvana came out in the fall of 1991, so how could it be about the abduction that hadn't happened yet?
