it could also be "what i am " by emma bunton aka 'the spice girls'.........nevertheless its still the same song.just a different singer

Crazydon you were ALMOST right. "What I Am" was released in 1989 by Edie Brickell and New Bohemians. (They were not known as THE New Bohemians and were quick to correct anyone who called them THE New Bohemians).
A minor detail, but details are what this site is all about. ;D
I wonder if Eminem's "The Way I Am" was inspired by this Brickell classic? ???
