Subject: Feedback on parodies

Written By: lebeiw15 on 11/01/02 at 07:42 p.m.

This is NOT why I leave my e-mail address on the bottom of my parodies... Just got an e-mail tonight, and this is what it says:

*evil smile* What to you have against Lord of the Rings? It never did
anything to you. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUGH, HATRED!! WHATS WRONG WITH
YOU!? LORD OF THE RINGS IS THE BEST MOVIE ON THE PLANET!!! AND DONT JUST
SAY 'Oh, well, thats your oppinion...' CAUSE ITS NOT! ITS A FACT,
GOSHDANGIT,  LORD OF THE RINGS IS THE BEST MOVIE!!!

I leave my e-mail for feedback (good or bad), not so I can get this crap.. all I can do is laugh...  ::)

This is also why I started putting my spam/other e-mail address on my songs (Lycos)...

haha, that's funny.  lord of the rings is not that great of a movie.  in fact, I'm really not looking forward of seeing it.  just like Harry Potter, i really thought that was dumb.

Lord of the rings wasn't that good. I am going to watch it again for a second opinion though, although I have had many ideas for LOTR bashing parodies.

I have to agree with John here. Leaving ones email address for feedback implies good and bad responses may be left. What this other person wrote was crap, not in terms of content, not spelling, not even apostrophizing (though there are many missing). Everyone is entitled to their opinion, personally I loved LOTR, but it's not a case of having pissed anyone off, more a case of writing an e-mail down on the board. The world is full of these people who can't form a logical, and well-thought out opinion. John, by not joining them, you have made a wise choice.

Having read this now, I can see why a comments section hasn't yet been added...

you see that kind of crud on the feedback boards on Entertainment Weekly's website and the Yahoo movies peer review sites too...just people looking for attention.
