"Out of the blue and into the black"
and "Hey hey My my"

which one is the correct title?

some of the lyrics are:

Hey hey my my
rock and roll willnever die
.....
the kingis dead but he's not forgotten
this is the story of a johnny rotton
.....
my my hey hey
Rockk and roll is here to stay
it wont burn out or fade away
.....

I skipped around there, but you get the picture....what the hell is the real name of this song?

That is the album title.

The song is either:

Hey Hey, My My (Into the Black)
or
My My, Hey Hey (Out of the Blue)  ???

From off of the "Live Rust" album, there are two songs. One is "My My, Hey Hey (Out of the Blue)" and the other is "Hey Hey, My My (Into the Black)"

Why not just call it 'That One Cool Neil Young Song'?

It's from the 1978 Rust Never Sleeps.  There were two recorded versions of it, an acoustic one and a heavy electric one.  The acoustic is called "My My, Hey Hey (Out of the Blue)" while the electric is called "Hey Hey, My My (Into the Black)."  It does get a bit confusing, doesn't it?

Because the problem with that would be Neil Young has had a number of cool songs, not just that one.....ROckin in the free world (The song that made me a fan of him), Heart of Gold (The first song I learned to play on guitar), cinimon girl, southern man, ohio (With CS&N), Woostock (With CSN) and a few others....his version of rockin with Pearl jam is awesome

Perhaps...but it would save a lot of trouble. How about 'The One Cool Neil Young Song that Pearl Jam did to honor Kurt Cobain's death?'
