Subject: Beethoven rock song

Written By: Pam on 11/24/02 at 03:03 a.m.

Hi,

I watched Carson Daly's show, "Last Call" and they had a musical guest that performed a really cool, rock/ almost disco version of Beethoven's 5th symphony. This song was not an old rock version of the song, the singer was very young. I was wondering if anyone new the name of the song or the singer. Thanks in advance.

HAVE YOU BEEN LIVING UNDER A ROCK??? j/k. ::)

Seriously, that song used to be "A Fifth of Beethoven" by Walter Murphy. That was the hottest song in 1976-77. Did it sound anything like this?:
