O.K. My daughter is singing the Barney theme tune at the moment.
She insists it's
Barney is a dinosaur from Barney planet nation.
Now I know that's not right but what are the correct words (and the rest of the song?)

I could be wrong, but:
Barney is a dinosaur from our imagination,
And when he's tall he's what we call a dinosaur sensation.
Barney's friends are big and small they come from lots of places,
After school they meet to play and sing with happy faces.
Barney shows us lots of things like how to play pretend,
ABCs and 123s and how to be a friend.
Barney comes to play with us whenever we may need him,
Barney can be your friend too if you just make believe him.
I've had to sit through b****y Barney for two or three weeks now. It's getting so bad, I'm starting to yearn for Teletubbies

His dumb voice really annoys yes i really hate him
ok maybe thats not really it i know a little bit of the actual song - exposed fairly recently working in nursery school - but dont wish to repeat it

Now to convince my daughter that I know the real words! She's never believed me yet.
I'm trying to wean her off Channel 5, it's just giving her ideas for CHristmas! :)
