Subject: Song Lyrics - This one's a long shot...
ok there's this song from the early eighties, i want to say 1983 or 1984...i know the melody but unfortunately can't hum it over the internet...
it was sung buy a guy, it had a very jazzy, "adult contemporary" VH1 kind of sound. the only line i remember from it is "get into your car and drive"...
in the video, i remember there was a maid who goes into a hotel room and finds this glamorous dress and holds it up in front of her and starts dancing around...
ring a bell with anyone....???

well, that lyric is very familiar.......for some odd reason, "Get out of my dreams (and into my car)" by Billy Ocean is popping into my head, but I dont think thats it. Ill think of it eventully..cant really think of it right now cause I got Southside johnny blasting on the radio for some odd reason

shoot, I was beat to it twice already.....I just heard the song on the radio while I was driving, and I heard that lyric, and said, "Hey, that lyric is familiar..too familiar", and then I remembered your post nd came here to tell you, but I was beat....damn....
