Subject: Song On The Radio (The Title??)

Written By: catherine on 12/27/02 at 01:04 p.m.

OK, I heard this song on the radio this morning and I was really wondering who sings this song. It sounds like a song that's come out within the past two years and sung by a woman who sounds like either Tori Amos or Alanis Morisette and it has lyrics about a woman who can't stand where she is ("and she cries and she cries and she cries and she cries" then she sings something about "I gotta get out of this town/I gotta get out of the pain" or something like that), gets on this train to go to this town and "meets this guy who takes her in" and a line about "different town but the same old thing." Does anyone know the title and artist of this song? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
