...has been around for a long time.  Excellent parody, but I don't believe it was written by Orion.

no.. someone else told me about it too.. and a quick google shows it to be a total rip off.. I had to remove two this morning where someone tried to resubmit parodies from the site as their own.. and popular ones at that.. I can't understand why people don't grasp the concept of only sending their own parodies.

People probably do, but either think it doesn't apply to them, or think it's so great they just want to post it anyway.  There's been a couple I would have loved to seen submitted to amiright, but don't know who the original author is to ask them to do it.

I have gotten a couple, where people say "this is so great it belongs here" on the comments field, and I guess I understand that people want to share their favorites..

but the misheard lyrics on the site are already probably borderline copyright infringement, so I certainly don't wanna deal with the RIAA or the Harry Fox Association or any of those other blood suckers by giving them a clear cut case of copyright infringement...
