Subject: Who Ever Saw That Video "Free To Be... You & Me"?

Written By: Hairspray on 01/16/03 at 02:32 p.m.

Ok. Theres a song they all sing sitting on the floor in a circle (around a coffe table?) "hippie" style. Kris Kristofferson strums on a guitar leading the song with Marlo Thomas.

The "official" name of the song has escaped me. The chorus goes:

"Love goes around in a circle; friendship begins..."

I have not been able to find it or the lyrics anywhere. The song's not available in WinMX or Kazaa Lite.

I was thinking maybe I have the "official" title of the song wrong and that's why I have no results.  :-/

Maybe I'm just having poor luck.

I'm hoping one of you can shed some light on this for me.

Thanks in advance!  :D

I LOVE "Free to be...You and Me." I used to listen to the record all the time but don't recall that song. I think because it was so successful, Marlo did another one. Maybe that song is on the second one. (I could be wrong.)

That song and a couple of othes from the video were never included in the record album/soundtrack. I never understood why.  ???   :(

I remember that...we had this cool idea to point to "you" when they sang "me" and point to "me" when they same "you" in the "You and me are free to be you and me".

I was such a dork...   :P
