Subject: Hazel O'Connor song?

Written By: karen (Guest) on 01/28/03 at 07:11 a.m.

I heard the very end of a song on the radio yesterday and I'm trying to work out what its called.  All I heard was the haunting Sax solo.  I know the song and, after talking to a friend, think its by Hazel O'Connor but we can't remember the correct title.  It might be called Stay Now?

It contains the lyrics

Or will you just politely say goodnight

and

I'm wondering if you'll stay now (stay now)

Does this ring any bells with anyone?

I think you'll find it's called "Will You"

Thanks Phil

You know, now that I read the title, I don't think I ever really knew that it was called that.

Ah well, we live and learn

Quoting:
You know, now that I read the title, I don't think I ever really knew that it was called that.
End Quote

I didn't either, 'til I went looking for the song with a view to writing a parody to it.  Once I'd got the hang of the song, though, the parody idea didn't work so well.
