Subject: Money for Nothing

Ok, I have heard it as "Money for nothing and your checks for free" and "Money for nothing and your chicks for free." Which is it?  I have always thought it was "chicks" but I could be wrong.

It's "...money for nothin' and your chicks for free..".  The song was supposedly inspired by Mark Knopfler one day when he was waiting in line to pay for some groceries.  Some guy in line behind him made the comment that makes up that lyric when they were looking at a magazine on display showing some rock star on the front cover.  Mark got pi$$ed off by the comment and he came up with that song in short order.  Cutting edge video for its time, by the way.
