Subject: Parodies of complete albums

Written By: ChuckyG on 02/13/03 at 06:09 a.m.

incase you haven't noticed, robzombie450 parodied the entire double album of Pink Floyd's "The Wall"

I know there's been a few other people who have done entire albums worth of parodies, that might need a summary page like the one I did for robzombie's today.. basically, the problem is that posting an entire album worth of parodies at once creates a page that's too large, so if you submit the songs individually, and email me, I'll tell you how to submit a list of songs for me to use...

Can it be off a Greatest Hits album?  I think I might try to do every song on the Police's Every Breath You Take: The Hits album, since I've already done four or five already.  Cool feature!

is it all from the same album? if so, I actually want people to send them to me in a specific format, so I don't have to do as much work... IM me, and I'll tell you how

Subject: musical of musicals...

Along the lines of albums, I've been mulling over a project called "The Musical of Musicals." (Wonder of wonder, musical of musicals.) I'm sure you can all guess that it's a bad musical made up of musical parodies. Would that be appropriate for the albums, or would that be annoying? It's not done yet. (Ha, ha, I have about two more scenes to go.) It would just be the songs I'd submit, of course. (Or maybe not, since I'm sure everyone was annoyed with my Spider-Man the musical songs.)

Ciao,
Klaire

the only problem with mixed collections like that, is that the way I did for it the Wall parody, isn't really appropriate, since two of the fields I sort by, are original name and original performer..

if I ever got around to setting up an original songs section (like they do at fanfiction.net) I could conceivably set something like that up...

It is. All of it is from Teenage Fanclub's excellent last album "Howdy!" ;D
