I still haven't gotten one set of voting results, and the snow is coming down at such a fast pace, I'm sure I'll end up losing power at some point during the day.. and if not the power, than most likely my cable modem.. so even if they do come in, I might not get a chance to see them..

My solution: let everyone into the next round. But seriously,knocking it down to 8 players for the second round could mean that this thing will be over in a couple of weeks due to people not being able to submit. I think that as of the second round then everyone should be encouraged to write something and the submitters with the top 8 first round scores get judged. after that it should be able to work normally since there'll be (more or less)the people who can submit a song every week to whatever theme is asked. and people who submit but arent judged at least have another parody so everyone wins

I got yours... it's BLO-TOWN I'm waiting for.. I didn't start an official thread, and considering the length of this round, I don't think you can post it on the messageboard anyways.. I'll put them directly on the website when I get them all..
I think with the next round, I'll just have the judges start the thread (whoever posts first, starts the thread) and post them rather than email them...

sorry guys, i've been out of town for a week and w/o internet so i didn't even know i was a judge plus i live in VA real close to DC and the weather is terrible. i try to get the stuff to u today though

That must be a bummer - checking what's been going on in your absence, to find out you've been selected as a judge and have a couple of dozen of songs to review... and everyone's waiting for you already ::)

don't rush it though.. just get it done by Thursday night.. I'll announce the winners Friday and update the pages, the first topic, etc on Friday morning..

for the first round I was expecting a paragraph or so.. album cornix wrote very detailed reviews and Loose Kannon's were probably about half the length of his..
did you get the email I sent you? if so, respond to it with your reviews when you're done.. my regular email account seems to be hosed yet again.. some day I'll get the hang of admining my own server.. but not anytime soon from the looks of it..

i thought that my comments were fine, about the length that i posted earlier. I will go more in depth in the later rounds when I actually have some criteria to judge upon besides "funny". Plus, of course it'll be easier to do 1/3 of the entries where I can spend more than 15 minutes on each one.
