Subject: Same parody...different authors

Written By: jbuchoff on 02/21/03 at 12:17 a.m.

Hey Chucky,

Don't know if either of these is actually original, but the same "Bomb Iraq" parody came out the last few days from two different authors.  The first is by "chipper", the second by "The Love Almond".  Chipper's came out today, The Love Almond came out yesterday.  Looks like exactly the same lyrics.

This one made the rounds via e-mail within the last month.  My guess would be that neither is the original writer on this one.

As a professional writer and occaisional poster to this site, I am appalled by plagiarism.  That being said, I respectfully request that these posts be taken off this site.  It's unfair to the original writer.

they'll be removed during the next update.. I always remove plagerized parodies. In the future, I prefer if people send me stuff like this in email so I can organize the amount of stuff I have to do

Sorry Chuck.  In the future I will e-mail you, but let's hope this situation doesn't arise again.
I once had a rival newspaper publish (verbatim) an obituary I had written; that writer was immediately fired.  I was livid.
