Back in 1983 or so, Tipper Gore bought a copy of Prince's "Purple Rain" LP for her kids.  She was shocked when she heard the kiddies singing that "masturbating in the mezzanine" line :o.  Long story short... that was the inspiration for her and the other Washington Wives to form the pro-censorship "PMRC". :-/
