Subject: trying to find an 80s song

Written By: griffin on 03/04/03 at 03:05 a.m.

I'm looking for a popular 80s song that I don't know the name of. It has lyrics that sound like "earth is turning... falling faster" It's definitely an 80s song ... but my friend and I have no clue ... and the falling faster part is definitely repeated in the chorus. any help would be appreciated

Could you be thinking of "Beds Are Burning" by Midnight Oil perhaps?  An awesome song in itself... but I don't know if what's you're looking for.  Good Luck...  ;D

I instantly began singing Peter Schilling's "Major Tom" as soon as I read the lyric...I bet that's what you're looking for.
