Ok it's by one of the hair bands i am pretty sure.
Starts out....
"Hey little girl don't be shy"
Then the chorus goes into
"Won't you stay..Stay till the end i need you here with me."
Does anyone know this song and the title?

No not "To be with you" by Mr. Big
This song was very much on the Guitar Rock/Hard Rock side.I am thinking is was about 1987/88. It had a very Warrant/Whitesnake kind of sound. It was a popular song got alot of radio play but don' think it ws a top ten.
I am also looking for a son that used the words "Get into my car"many times in the lyrics it was NOT Billy Oceans version of "Get into my car" but a much more rock song and the singer was male and had a very grainy Joe Cocker type voice?

Ringo Starr did a song called "You're 16" that went "You walked out of my dreams and into my car. Now you're the angel devine. You're 16, you're beautiful, and you're mine."
