No not "To be with you" by Mr. Big
This song was very much on the Guitar Rock/Hard Rock side.I am thinking is was about 1987/88. It had a very Warrant/Whitesnake kind of sound. It was a popular song got alot of radio play but don' think it ws a top ten.
I am also looking for a son that used the words "Get into my car"many times in the lyrics it was NOT Billy Oceans version of "Get into my car" but a much more rock song and the singer was male and had a very grainy Joe Cocker type voice?

Ringo Starr did a song called "You're 16" that went "You walked out of my dreams and into my car. Now you're the angel devine. You're 16, you're beautiful, and you're mine."
