Subject: A song to fit a poem's theme

Written By: redhead007 on 03/10/03 at 08:33 a.m.

Hello all!  :) I'm gonna need some help and any reply would be great. OK, I'm doing a project for my English class where I have to find a song that has to do with the theme of a poem. The poem that my group and I are doing is Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night by Dylan Thomas. It doesn't matter if the song is new or old, any decade would be fine, just as long as it's appropriate.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!  8)

There's  a song by John Dylan that matches the poem I don't know the name of the song but check under John
Dylan and you'll find the song or better still rent the movie
Dangerous Minds and they do the same project.

Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen comes close...

"I don't want to die/Sometimes wish I'd never been born at all"

although it does let the side down by later proclaiming "Nothing really matters"
