Subject: lose yourself parodies

Written By: Tone-Def on 03/11/03 at 10:18 a.m.

i'd like to congratulate john harvey, syncronos, jared lerner and anyone else who's made a decent parody of that song. I'm trying to make one nowand am having a really tough time with the second verse (i made the first verse a week or 2 ago and had a bit of trouble with that too) If i ever finish it should be the first parody ever from the point of view of an evil, communist (in the corrupted sense not actual fair sharing of wealth), fictional dictator and it should be interesting. I've got midterms this week so im pretty motivated to do whatever to not study for midterms.

Thank you, Tone-Def. Yes it was quite difficult. Even though I like most of my parody, there are still parts that I could not get down because of the weird rhyme scheme.

Good luck with your parody. Hope it comes out well!

youre not the first to write one about being a communist.....Jim A wrote one called "WE are the Marxists" to the tune of "We are the champians"

Just so you know, Marxism and communism are not the same things. Marxism says that the workers own all the capital. With communism, the government owns all the capital.

I actually finished already- i guess having something else i should be doing is really good for the creative process. It's called ¨lose your wealth¨ and it should be up next update. Now i really should study for my midterm that i have in a little over an hour
