i read a posting from a person named "smith" to 80smusic freak asking about the superman song - if you haven't already found out - it was done by Celi bee and the buzzy bunch  ;)

if you do a search on the bands anme - you may be able toget a free download - i did

There are many "Superman" songs out there. The one in this topic is a Disco song from 1979.  :)

I don't know what the original topic was, but the Kinks had a song called  "(Wish I Could Fly Like) Superman" from Low Budget , but hardly 'disco'.  8)

Yep, totally different song, and definitely not disco, IMO, either. In fact, it's probably my favorite Kinks tune. :-) Quite catchy, and should've done a lot better here in the U.S. (struggled to #41 in the Spring of '79)...

There's also a song called "Superman" by Miguel Bose. It sounds a bit Disco and I think it came out in '79.
