Thank you, Mike and Billy, for showing the initiative on this project.  Is the voting the same as normal, 1 - 5 for pacing, humor and overall, do we just pick the best in each category, or something else?

Hey B and M, great job.

Are you guys gonna do a Lifetime Achievement Award?
Just wondering, lol.

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK

its funny you should ask that...lol, yes there is going to be a lifetime achievement award given out, to one of the parody writers this year, and We'll let them know in advance so that they can prepare a speech lol....Im not gunna tell him/her yet, but we will soon....The winner will finally be announced to the public when the full list of winners is announced....you know what we should do lol...we should have presenters and such, (well, it would be the presenters name would be like in parenteses before the catorgory at the actully end, but it would be a funny idea...) anyway, thanks for the kind words

Glad to see there's no William Tong parodies in this competition--- let's all hope he's not the one you have in mind for the lifetime acheivement award--- i will go on a homicidal rampage in UT2003 if that happens...

now thats just wrong...that is completely the wrong attitude to take...I personally dont agree with Tongs politics, but I would never deny his great parody writing ability...He has quite a few songs in this competition..just not in this round....andd about the lifetime achievement award, let me tell you, he is one who it could be

BTW.....We need more people to vote...there are more replys in this post than votes as of now...

Crap, my bad...delete my quote and I'll e-mail it :D

I don't particularly like Tong's parodies or politics either, but to single him out, anonymously even, is classless.

I think Tong should be the one to get it. I mean yes, he does do the same topics constantly, but hey I still think he's a kewl guy. And I don't particulary agree with his views either, sbut I still think he could be the one LIFETIMEACHIEVEMENT award winner (whoo-hoo!) Just don't single him out.

Peace

didn't he win last time? or is this a new category?

Michael and Billy:

If you have room for two more categories in the Amiright Awards, you might want to consider the two unresolved Amiright Idle categories: Christopher Walken and the Iraqi War.  Instead of having five contestants, you should have the seven parodies that got into rounds 2 and 3.

It is unfortunate that the Amiright Idle contest had to be aborted, but I think that incorporating the seven survivors into your awards would give at least two of them some well deserved recognition.

Ok, 2 things---

1. OK. I was wrong to single William Tong out. I was angry about a number of things--- and i wound up taking it out on William Tong. While I can't disagree with his parody writing ability, the same George W. Bush whacking is getting old. Fast. I severely disagree with his lyrics, but yes, he does have a talent for writing parodies.

2. I posted as a Guest because i don't usually post on these boards-- so i don't have a username yet. Maybe I'll get one in the future.

So again-- I'm sorry I singled out William Tong, but I hate his lyrics.

PS-- I don't even own UT2003. Sounded better than saying i was going to go on a plain old homicidal rampage--- that makes me sound like a murderer...

there already is an iraqi war catorgory with nominees (itll probably be in the next round), and unfortunatly the amiright idle contest fell outside of the date that the awards span....maybe for the summer awards itll be interesting to have these catorgories...its a good idea none the less

I think I'll respond to this rant with my standard policy when I fill out the Amiright parody submittal form...
