Subject: Janet's "Diamonds song

When PPL mis-understand song lyrics, everyone hears different things. Some are altered slightly while others are off the wall. (As noted in the archives)
ANYWAY- On Janet Jackson's song "diamonds", I hear the chorus as being- "Don't you know, Johnny's all the girls best friend".
An honest mistake perhaps, but here is the thing- I think PPL may hear songs the way they WANT to, subconsciously. Here is why I hear this song the way I do - At the time, it was mid 80's, I was in middle school, and i was looking for this kid named "Johnny" who had sucker punched me a few weeks B4 at the skating rink. This same skate rink is where I first heard this song as well. (I lived there on weekends)
