I am not a record exec or anything, but I wanted to tell you guys about a cool album I discovered while flying overseas. It is called "Aware Greatest Hits".
It is a great compilation of early recordings, demos, etc... of artists like Matchbox 20, John Mayer, Vertical Horizon, Hootie, Five for Fighting, etc.
Since most of the recordings are early demos, they have a "stripped down" feel, kind of like the "MTV Unplugged' series.
It is a very difficult record to find but nonetheless cool. 8)
