It was either Devo or The Waitresses.
Both are good bands.

you know, thats who I thought it was....I really hate them actully (and not just for this theme)..."I know what boys like" and "Christmas Wrappings" both annoy the hell out of me

Actually I remember a little while ago seeing an episode, and it was like the prom and as a musical guest they had, low and behold, the waitresses....they really do suck
PS: you dont have to shoot the lead singer, shes already dead!

I almost forgot. Devo 8) actually performed on the show ("Muffy" Tepperman's bat mitzvah) and it was AWESOME. A totally different head. ;D
Bummer... Patty Donahue, the girl who sang the Square Pegs theme song, passed away from cancer in 1996. :'(
