Subject: Looking for an obscure song title

I've been searching for this song for ages.....all have to go on are a couple of lyrics and even those are a little vague.
I think there is a line in the song that is something like 'loving you is like a going down a waterslide of razor blades'. All I know for sure is that it's it above love, waterslides and razor blades. Can anyone help, PLEASE!

It's a man, with a somewhat tortured voice. Also, it had to have come out prior to 1997.
