Subject: 'Drops of Jupiter'

I wanted to say something about the remark in the 'innapropriate lyrics' area about this song.

The whole song is about her return from a journey.

The question was...'did you make it to the Milky Way to see the lights are faded, and 'that' heaven is over-rated..'

Not heaven with God and Jesus..the heavens (get it? stare out to the heavens?)
The preceding line was avbout the Milky Way (the heavens, as some astroligors will refer to it) and how the lights are faded..and that 'Milky Way' is over-rated..like being back here is better than trying find yourself...out there.

I tend to disagree. I think the lyrics, and specifically the ones you mentioned, are very sexual. I think the song has major double-entendre's...but that's the way I interpret it...everyone is different.

I have to agree with Jonman on this one.  There is clearly more than meets the ear in Drops of Jupiter.  I for one think that the song is REALLY about self-gratification.
