Subject: Parody corrections

If you need some parodies corrected, or your author profile updated (and you haven't already sent me email or a PM), respond in this thread and I'll fix it this week.. probably towards the end of the week..

The latest boy-band parody our quintet has made (Please Stop to the tune of Mmmbop) featured me as Rocm Princess.  >:( Please correct - not just for me, but also to enable it to be listed with our previous 4 parodies.
Thank you in advance.  ;D

Im my song "Skunks," (http://www.amiright.com/parody/misc/green0.shtml) the original author is listed as 'Green.' That is actually the album name. The real author should be REM. Could you please fix this? Thanks.

I have three:

1.
Bleaque Alley   http://www.amiright.com/parody/60s/themamasandpapas0.shtml

Last line reads:  "Though everyone is saying we don't give a so let it be"
Should read:  "Though everyone is saying we don't give a so let it be"
(add "")

2.
Stealin' Movies   http://www.amiright.com/parody/60s/simonandgarfunkel10.shtml

Second line reads: "Don't want hear your idle chat.  Just"
Should read:  "Don't wanna hear your idle chat.  Just"
(replace "want" with "wanna")

3.
One Word Leads to a Blunder:
http://www.amiright.com/parody/80s/thefixx2.shtml

First line of Third verse reads: "Word invention, how's it's spelled?"
Should read:  "Word invention, how's it spelled?"
(replace "it's" with "it")

Thanks a million!

I was kind of in a rush when posting my latest two parodies. Thought I had proofread them well enough, but at least one spelling error got through in each of them.

1. Flip the Bird.
http://www.amiright.com/parody/misc/traditional240.shtml

In one of the verses it should be "lubes" not "lubs". Though that´s a very minor thingie.

2. I´m Slim Shady / Money in Rap.
http://www.amiright.com/parody/90s/celinedion11.shtml

"My voice was cold..." should be "My voice was cool...", and that one makes a much bigger difference to the meaning of the verse.

Also, if at all possible, I would like to change my author name altogether. I feel kinda bad even asking for it, cos I realise that there´s a lot of work changing the author name in 27 old songs. (Unless that part is database driven and easyly changed in a way beyond my understanding :-). Anyway, if possible, and for reasons partly mentioned in the not yet published authors bio that you have, and partly because I use it in other forums and have begun to see it as my THE internet alias, I would like to change it from "Snaggletoth" to "Know 1 can hear you dream".

If this request is granted, the bio will be adjusted accordingly, so the one currently submitted can be put "lost in cyberspace". If not, put it up as it is. And if there´s any questions about this, I can be contacted via my hotmail addy.

I was waiting for this to come up again...

in my song, "Cellulite Heroes" http://www.amiright.com/parody/60s/kinks1.shtml, in the last verse I wrote, "I wish that my life was a non stop chocolate lollipop," that should be changed to, "I wish that my life was a non stop chocolate candy bar."  I think it fits a little better and is funnier...

and in "Musical Pie(reprise)" http://www.amiright.com/parody/70s/donmclean19.shtml, in the seccond to last verse, I say, "and the bands played on all through the might," the word, "might," should read, "night."

Thanks

I almost forgot.

http://www.amiright.com/parody/90s/billymyers0.shtml

I was typing in the spur of the moment, and for some reason placed question marks next to each "Hello".  :-X Can you remove them, please? (The question marks, not the "Hello"s).

On the title of "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road:  The Misheard Version" I accidently typed "Mishead".  Could you change "Mishead" to "Misheard?"

Thank you Chucky.

I would like to have comments enabled on all of my parodies.  There are just two that currently lack this feature:

Thank you Chucky!

1.  I accidentally submitted "Scary Ann" (parody of "Carrie Anne") twice.

2.  I did 3 parodies of "Monster Mash."  When I entered Bobby "Boris" Pickett's name into the Original Artist field on the submittal form, it ended up being listed as just "Bobby," for some reason.  Anyway, I made the same mistake 3 times.

In my most recent parody, I accidentaly typed "The Bealtes" as the artist. Can that be corrected? (It's supposed to be "The Beatles")

Just noticed (after all this time) that my "Bare Celebrities" parody has got the source song spelt wrong: it should be "Bear Necessities", of course:
