After about a month and a half, Mike Armstrong finally submits a parody... "Wintuition" to the tune of Jewel's big hit, "Intuition."  It's a tribute of sorts to some of the big stars in the game show business, and also a tribute to the Game Show Network in general.  Hopefully you'll enjoy it.

My latest parody is a tribute to the late Iron Butterfly guitarist Erik Braunn. It's called "Erik" and is a parody of Staind's "Layne." Today would have been Erik's 53rd birthday.  :'(

Well, I've been on vacation and thus a parody break, but tommorow you should see 2 new ones from me:

"Report from a Weekend Uno Tournament(U,N,O)"
parody of "Who are you," by The Who

That song, a very fun one to write, is about the card game Uno.
And then, another fun one.....

“I guess that’s why the Yankees can’t lose”
parody of “I guess that’s why they call it the blues” by Elton John

Basically, it trashes the Yankees.

I'll post links when they're up.

I also have 4 more being posted tomorrow. Just 6 more and the entire album of "The Self Titled Debut Album" will be submitted, thus giving me two albums worth of songs on here (i.e. 24 songs). Yo here's a little question, why isn't anyone voting on my songs? The most I have for one song is 7, and that just isn't cutting it.

Tomorrow, look for my latest attempt at ruining a classic TV show through song with "Green Acres" to the tune of "Purple Haze." The lyrics to the Green Acres theme work well to the tune of "Purple Haze."

It's gonna be huge...

Well, I'm not sure how the weekend updates work, but I just submitted "Wizard of Oz Characters Gone bad" er....I think that's the title I put down. Anyway, it's a sort of "medley" parody, which parodies a couple verses of each of the "If I only had a....." songs sung by the Scarecrow, Tinman, and Lion. It is in my opinion quite a good rebound from my....er....less than perfectly paced last submission.

Woah, first occasion in awhile I've been able to submit 2 songs on the same day. "Ballad of the Red Sox," a parody of "Cat's in the Cradle," will also be up whenever the next set of submissions are put on the site(are they done on Saturdays?) ???

I'm waiting to get the full lyrics to Britney Spears's "Everytime" so I can parody the song.

Until then, tomorrow you'll see my next parody, North Korean Refugees (parody of Tom Petty's "Refugee"). It's gonna be huge!

I was so saddened by the tragic death of Fred "Rerun" Berry that I decided to do a parody to say goodbye to him. :'( It's called "Rerun's Gone to the Other Side," to the tune of the Doors' "Break on Through." It's gonna be huge.
