Subject: ok, Im confused
The song "Why don't you and I" off Santana's album Shaman...now, the radio stations where I live have been playing this song since November, and everytime they play it they say "Why dont you and I" by Santana featuring Chad Kreoger from Nickelback...this has been how Ive seen it listed everytime....Now, I know that vh1 in all of its stupidity was making reference to the song as featuring Alex band of the Calling, but I thought they were just mis-labeling it..but today, I saw the video....not only is the video labeled featuring Alex Band, but the video features him singing (WHich is really odd, because the vocals are very much so that of Chad Kroeger)...what happened? Why has Chad Kroeger been erased from this track? lol..anyone know? Lebeiw? Foxvox? lol ;)

To cut a long story short, Roadrunner Records (Down with Roadrunner Records!) wouldn't let Chad on the track because it might "compromise the excitement of the new Nickelback album release this fall."

but he was already on the track, the video just had Alex Band lipsyncing...lol..hmmm, and excitment of the new Nickelback album? I didnt know that sounding exactly like every other neo-grunge band is exciting.....
