Subject: Eurythmics Live c1990

Written By: Owzat on 08/10/03 at 07:25 a.m.

I recorded a Live Eurythmics tour gig off the TV in the early 90s (I think) and they performed a song which I never found out what it was. It may have been their Revival tour and I found what seemed to be a listing of the performance I saw but it didn't make any sense - the only song I can find which vaguely fits the lyrics as I recall them is Never Gonna Cry Again but according to the webpage and gig listing it was performed by backing singers which it definintely was not. I recall some of the lyrics as something like -

"Ain't never gonna let me down, ain't never gonna turn around......"

It was a lot more upbeat than Never Gonna Cry Again ie quicker but may have been a live version. Did anyone see any of the tour? (Australia I believe) Does anyone know what the song is and/or what version? Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated  :)
