This message was posted by James Martin on Wednesday, 30 August 2000, and nobody identified this song, i heard this song on the radio as James Martin did, but i don't know the artist/song either. Hope you can help!

>> James Martin wrote: this is going to be the hardest one to find on the artist who sing this song. it's either from the 80's or early 90's a jazzy,synth-pop a.c.song that is probably in the list of well-forgotten songs (believe me, i'm not kidding). the lyrics may not be in the right order beacause i had to listen to it 5 or 6 times to write the lyrics down. here goes: "I Can't Let Go" 1st verse: walking alone in the cold grey dark, needing your touch, but the touch is gone. i see your face everywhere i turn, what i feel is love i just start to yearn.oh your embrace have i come to this, just a dream of your kiss. chorus: i can't let go i keep telling my heart, but my heart won't listen and i never known why can't i open the door to myself in prison. 2nd verse: calling your name in the dead of the night tasting your lips and holding you tight. reach for your hand, but there just no end, making me crazy that your not there. yeah, in my heart we'll it sometime to you to cross that line.( repeat chorus). bridge: over, i'm seeing it, i'm believin' it, much more till then maybe i.... (sax solo) and it goes back to the chorus. now, the challenge. i need the artist of that song and the album it came from (chances are that it's out of print). this is a tough one. i'm able to help you with naming songs and artists on the messageboard now, it's your turn.  >>

>> Hope you can help to solve this mystery once and for all, and BTW, the song IS NOT "I can't let Go by Celi Bee" it's NOT disco and it is man singing.
Cheers.
