Hi, some friends and I were discussing songs, the annoying ones that you can never get out of your head. I remember this song in about 1982-83 as going something like, Shoop shoop dilly whopper comer comer wang wang. That's it, all I remember, it could have been a girl band that sung it perhaps Australian. I have done all sorts of searches but come up with nothing. ::) ::) ::) It would be great if someone remembers the song and can put my mind at rest. :D Thanks.

I remember the song too.
Found this...
"Murray Grindley went on to form a version of Cruise Lane in 1972 and did have success in later years when he recorded the song "Shoop Shoop Diddy Wop Cumma Cumma Wang Dang" as Monte Video. The song reached number 2 on the New Zealand charts in 1982 and also made it to number 11 on the Australian national charts the same year."
