Could someone explain these lyrics to me?  Maybe I'm just dumb... ::) :-/ :P

ETA--I understand the repetitive chorus.  He calling to say he loves her.  But, the verses and everything...

No new years’s day
To celebrate
No chocolate covered candy hearts to give away
No first of spring
No song to sing
In fact here’s just another ordinary day
No april rain
No flowers bloom
No wedding saturday within the month of june
But what it is
Is something true
Made up of these three words that I must say to you

So in the first verse I think he's talking about how it's no special occasion, you know, there's no wedding, no holiday, it's just another ordinary day and even though it's not a special day, he still loves her enough to just say "I love you."

I just called to say I love you
I just called to say how much I care
I just called to say I love you
And I mean it from the bottom of my heart

This is the chorus, you know about that.

No summer’s high
No warm july
No harvest moon to light one tender august night
No autumn breeze
No falling leaves
No even time for birds to fly to southern skies
No libra sun
No halloween
No giving thanks to all the christmas joy you bring
But what it is
Though old so new
To fill your heart like no three words could ever do.

This is like a repeat of the first verse's meaning, like there's not really a special day or season or whatever, he just knows that he loves her and will say it anyway and it will still have the same effect.

I just called to say I love you
I just called to say how much I care
I just called to say I love you
And I mean it from the bottom of my heart.

I just called to say I love you
I just called to say how much I care
I just called to say I love you
And I mean it from the bottom of my heart

Of my heart
Of my heart

Oops!  I never noticed the last three lines in each verse.  That kind of explains it.

Thanks so much Rice. :) ;D
