Subject: Obscure band from Canada

Written By: Lane on 02/13/04 at 07:10 a.m.

Hi All:

Does anyone remember the group Eight Seconds from Ottawa? I am trying to find two of their albums, Big Houses and Ottava Rima. Anyone own copies?

Thanks!

I've heard several of their songs.  I only have "Kiss You When It's Dangerous" in MP3 format.  They're another band who's albums are hard to find and I thank those that share them online.  :)

"Boulevard" is another band from Canada whose albums are hard to find.  :(

I've heard of Rough Trade but not any of the others. How about these obscure 80s Canada bands: FM, Images in Vogue, Chalk Circle, and the Box? Each one has some very good songs.

Excellent list. I am a big fan of all those bands.  They are regularly downloaded from me on Kazaa.

I recently saw Images in Vogue, The Spoons,
Platinum Blonde and Saga in concert.

It was so fun and brought back tons of memories!  :D ;D
