Subject: songs with lyrics a little off

Written By: saver on 03/20/04 at 10:48 p.m.

On the Vickie Lawrence song 'Night the Lights Went Out In Georgia" .., she sings 'Night THAT the lights went out in Georgia"...
Know any others that have a word or two changed from the actual title???
*Not meaning songs that are titled but the hook to them have nothing to do with the title..THAT'S a different quiz!
Like Lido Shuffle- Boz Scaggs(I don't think he ever says "Lido Shuffle"-he just sings Lidooooo).

Thanks for trying to add to the list!

Edited to take the word "quiz" off of the title because any and all quizzes should be posted on the "Quizzes' forum.

Over here in 1974, a guy by the name of Ken Boothe made a 'soft-reggae' (and quite enjoyable) version of Bread's 'Everything I Own', and had a colossal hit with it...

...thing was, he sang 'Anything I Own' all throughout...!

I have one...

In Chicago's hit, "Hard To Say I'm Sorry", Peter Cetera sings:

"Hold me now, it's hard for me to say I'm sorry"
