Subject: How do you make your songs popular?

Written By: PatchX#23 on 11/25/2000 at 1:58 p.m.

I just posted a parody the other day, and it's gotten a few votes and so far is doing very well. However, at this rate, I don't see how in the world my song could get in the "popular" list. The popular songs have votes in numbers above twenty, while it seems that your average song doesn't get more than five votes. The most popular songs are "advertised" as being the best, so no wonder they are getting so many votes. My question is, how do you get a good song to break away from "just another five vote parody" into something that might have a chance at being in the top five some day?
