Subject: William Tong...

Written By: ChuckyG on 6/27/2001 at 12:57 p.m.

ok.. the other thread is getting a bit long..

basically.. William Tong does write parodies about stuff other than Bush, it's just that most of what he's sent me lately is about Bush. He runs an anti-Republican website, so that's his focus, and what he spends his time on.. if I was getting parodies from a website owner who ran a Bush appreciation website (such a strange thing must exist) then I would expect them to all be from that viewpoint..

also, the reason there are so many, is that he cranks out like 2 a day, and had maybe 300 or so written before I started this site last summer, so it's easy for him to submit older material on days he doesn't write... (he accounts for about 15% of the parodies on this site)

Malcolm Higgins is equally productive on my whatfreaks site (which will be getting updated regularly again real soon too).. before William Tong started sending regular submissions, STG was clearly blowing away everyone with at least a parody every day or every other day...

personally.. I don't know why anyone has a problem with it.. it's not like it's hard to spot one of his parodies, and if you don't like 'em, don't read 'em.. there's something like five or six other parodies everytime I update the site, so it's not like it's the only stuff on the site..
