Subject: Here's a new idea for voting..

Written By: ChuckyG on 7/31/2001 at 9:01 a.m.

Since some people seem concerned that the public at large votes aren't all that great (it's possible to cheat, and some people can garner more support than others) I was thinking that maybe a second voting system for parodies, in addition to the public votes.. open only to people who have sent me parodies..

the reason for the requirement of sending in a parody in order to be able to vote in the more "secure" method, would be to get opinions just from other parody writers.. it also cuts down on people registering thousands of email addresses just to create new voting accounts (granted, someone could just come up with a new name and address for each parody they send me, but man, you'd have to have no life what-so-ever)

maybe I can also add the ability for the authorized voting members to leave a message at the bottom of the page along with their ranking as well...
