Subject: Angry with a parody

Written By: Junior on 9/23/2001 at 9:19 p.m.

I think it was fine you lifted up the ban about the 9-11 thing, but it was just outright rude to see that "I wish That I weren't an American" parody. I know it wasnt meant to be disrespectful, but I really didn't appriacaite it. This is a time to be proud to be an American, to represent our country, our freedom, our unity. Saying you wish you weren't American because were supposedly losing our freedom is like saying you wish you didnt go to your school because they lost a football game against their rivals. However, I don't think we should have a war. Life isn't so you can gain enemies, it's so you can gain friends. Chuck, please don't let any more parodies like this be posted on the site. Thanx, Junior
