Subject: Searching for a parody song

Written By: Matt Forrester on 10/1/2001 at 8:28 p.m.

I heard a song on NPR about a year ago which was a parody of pop songs. The words described the verses, the refrain and the bridge. For example: "It's now the second verse, I'm expanding on the first, taking the subject a little deeper, in order to ...." and "now its the bridge and I'm changing key, I'm introducing a minor to show emotion" OK. I believe the song won a grammy. Let me know if anyone has an idea. Please email me.
