Subject: Need song title/Devil Worship

Written By: susieq on 10/5/2001 at 9:31 a.m.

I'm looking for the title, lyrics and artist of a song that was said to be devil worship. This was probably in the late 60's. I was living in Texas when I heard it, so it could have been a local hit. They played it a lot on the radio and it was hypnotic. It is a repetitive chant that phonetically sounds sort of like:

"Witchi tie tie" (mumble mumble) "Orinika Orinika

more mumbling repeated a number of times

Then: something about "something going round my head makes me feel (or think) that I'm dead"

I think it was a single male voice and very little background music, maybe some bells tingling.
