I remember buying a bootleg cassette while in Thailand in the early 90's. It was a compilation titled "LITE ROCK".
It contained the song by The Williams Brothers - Can't Cry hard Enough and this song which I'm still searching for.
It's sung by a rock group i believe, sung in high pitch vocals with only an acoustic guitar. It was a mellow song and the chorus goes like this...
After the Rain, After the Rain,
Never Again, Never Again....

you might be talking about "After The Rain" by Nelson..hope that helps :)

That rings a bell. It was like a motley crue / skid row kind of vocals. But I don't know the singer.....
