Subject: anyone remember this MTV video from the late 80's?

The song was a rock/techno kind of thing and the chorus was "I dont wanna fall in love==love cuts just like a knife, you make the ....feel good" the singer had an ordinary name like "Jane" but she was way ahead in fashion with tattoos and maybe a pierced nose--she had really long hair and was tough looking like a biker chick--I have searched high and low for the lyrics and know it exists because I had the cassette once upon a time...it is drivng me nuts,I have even heard the song on muzak--help!!!
